Mechanical Properties of Selected Epoxy Adhesive and Adhesive Joints of Steel Sheets

چکیده

The article presents the issues of mechanical properties epoxy adhesives and adhesive joints strength steel sheets which were made using adhesives. aim paper is to study different resin/curing agent ratios (within above recommended stoichiometric ratio) their effect on sheets. In experimental tests three types adhesives, containing a low molecular weight resin based bisphenol A polyamide curing agent, used. single-lap joint type stainless-steel was also applied. Two test used: compressive (DIN EN 196-1) for samples shear 1465) joints. Both analysis results as well failure carried out. On basis it can be stated that greatest deformation occurred modified (epoxy number—0.40) smallest basic number—0.49–0.52) agent. with smaller amount characterized by higher strength. This applies all analyzed resins. same dependences obtained adhesive.
